Well the numbers are in and if they prove anything the classics are classics and the 2000’s are back and I ain’t no hollaback girl! ehh, anyway, I digress. Music from the 2000s has definitely experienced a resurgence in popularity and Nostalgia often plays a significant role in the renewed interest in music from past decades.
People who grew up during that time will have particular fondness for the music they enjoyed during their formative years. Those who grew up in the 2000’s are now are now in their 20’s & 30’s and are now booking their weddings! Music at a wedding is almost akin to good comfort food and a wedding is a place where you want those good feels so it makes a lot of sense that Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas all pepper this years list (Not that some of them ever went away but, I think you get what I’m saying!)
